Kentut merupakan perkara biasa yang dialami setiap individu normal. Namun wujud satu lagi istilah lain dalam kalangan wanita iaitu, kentut faraj.<br />

<b>Apa itu kentut faraj?</b><br />
Kentut faraj ialah satu keadaan di mana seseorang wanita terasa seperti ada angin keluar melalui vagina. Isu kentut faraj boleh mengganggu wanita apabila ia menimbulkan was-was dari segi ibadah solat dan ketidakselesaan semasa bersama pasangan. Isu yang mungkin tidak popular dibincangkan namun setiap wanita perlu cakna.<br />

<b>Bagaimana boleh berlaku?</b><br />
Secara fisiologi, vagina merupakan satu tiub yang berotot dan berdinding membran yang menghubungkan pangkal rahim ke bukaan faraj. Kebiasaannya, udara akan masuk melalui kelopak besar (<i>labia majora</i>) sekiranya rahim anda dikatakan longgar.<br />

<b>Dari mana datangnya udara yang terperangkap?</b><br />
1- Udara di sekeliling<br />
Hal ini disebabkan otot-otot dinding vagina yang lemah. Kebiasaannya setelah wanita melalui proses melahirkan anak berulang kali. Udara boleh terperangkap apabila melakukan pergerakan seharian, atau aktiviti seksual.<br />
<br />
2- Angin disebabkan fistula.<br />
Masalah lubang penyambung di antara rektum dan vagina akibat pembedahan antara usus dan faraj. Masalah ini menyebabkan angin dari usus besar boleh memasuki faraj.<br />

Adakah ibadah solat saya terbatal apabila keluar angin dari faraj?<br />

Berdasarkan hadis di atas, secara jelas Rasulullah
memberitahu bahawa keluar angin boleh membatalkan solat. Oleh sebab itu, wanita
yang mengalami masalah angin pada faraj disarankan mengambil langkah-langkah

<li>Berdehem selepas membuang air kecil.</li>
<li>Membasuh kemaluan dengan sempurna.</li>
<li>Mengelap faraj sehingga kering dan menutupi ruang
kemaluan dengan tisu, kain atau menutupi ruang dengan rapat menggunakan tuala
pelekat yang nipis dan bersih.</li>
<li>Kemudian memakai seluar dalam yang kemas agar udara tidak
boleh keluar masuk sebelum berwuduk dan menunaikan solat.</li>

Bagaimana mengatasi masalah ini?<br />
Pernah dengar senaman Kegel? Bunyinya agak janggal bagi sesetengah individu. Senaman Kegel juga dikenali sebagai senaman kemutan. Sesetengah orang mengatakan bahawa senaman ini hanyalah untuk mengetatkan alat sulit, tetapi sebenarnya manfaatnya lebih daripada itu! Senaman ini juga membantu mengurangkan masalah kentut faraj.<br />
<br />
Caranya:<br />

<li>Kenalpasti otot pelvis.</li>
<li>Kemut otot tersebut seperti anda hendak menahan kencing. (AMARAN: Jangan lakukan langkah ini semasa terasa mahu kencing. Lakukan ketika pundi kencing anda kosong. Menahan kencing boleh menimbulkan masalah lain pula)</li>
<li>Lakukan samada secara berdiri, duduk, atau berbaring.</li>
<li>Setelah mendapatkan posisi selesa, tahan kemutan selama LAPAN hingga SEPULUH saat. Kemudian, lepaskan secara perlahan-lahan.</li>
<li>Ulang sebanyak 3 hingga 4 kali.</li>
<li>Lakukan secara berkala seperti 3 kali sehari</li>
</ol>

<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">Increase carbohydrate intake using ratio 60:20:20 (Carbohydrate: Protein: Fat)</span></li>
<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">If your really don't feel like eating, you may take mass gainer during snack time. (Only if you are too lazy!)</span></li>
<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">Remember, every meal time is crucial. Do not skip meal!</span></li>

<li>You may want to consider strength training. It helps to build your muscle and eventually increase your weight. Plus, increase your appetite.</li>
<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">Make sure your digestion and excretion is very good! Eating without excreting will makes you feels bloating.</span></li>
<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">At this point, if you are still unable to gain weight, do not give up! Keep trying and eat more frequent. How frequent? Eat five to six small meals may be helpful rather that only eat three large meals a day.</span></li>
<li><span style="line-height: 19.32px;">After all the efforts you've done, yet no changes , you may need to go for health check-up. Possibilities to have worms in body is there. So, better go for check-up at nearby hospital or clinic.</span></li>

<li><b>Sedentary lifestyle</b></li>
<li><b>Genetics. </b>Genetic plays a role on determining how much fat your body can store and its storage location.</li>
<li><b>Increase in age. </b>As we aged, there will be hormonal changes and more sedentary lifestyle</li>
<li><b>Lack of sleep. </b>This results in hormonal changes which will increase your appetite and make you crave for foods</li>

As for doctors or other physicians, they may perform further assessments in order to measure the accuracy of your health status. However, BMI is recommended as one of the easiest way that public can perform this measure by themselves too. Besides, it is inexpensive at all!<br />
